It’s almost summer. Are you as fit as you want to be?
If you have set fitness goals this spring to slip into those smaller sizes, or want to proudly wear a swimsuit (without a t-shirt), but you dread the long hours at those fitness clubs or you’re bored of the endless pounding of running, we have discovered at unique new sports product that will whip you into shape in no time and have a blast doing it.
The product is called Air-Trekker Jumping stilts. Jumping Stilts apparently are taking the USA by storm among the 15- 25 year old extreme sports crowds but we’ve discovered “older, health conscious men and women who are bored with of the gym and are looking for novel ways of exercising” are buying these units. WHY? “They are are just a lot of fun, and with the fun comes incredible fitness.”
There are a few licensed brands in the USA, and the brands are similar, so check around for the most affordable and the best quality. After a short learning curve adapting to the realization you are standing 18″ off the ground, you will find yourself bouncing, running and leaping around like an 8 year old very quickly.
Kids around the country have been using their skateboard, snowboard, wakeboard and trampoline skills and performing all their wild, big air tricks on jumping stilts. “It’s like having a trampoline strapped to your feet……you can perform anywhere.” But the hidden benefit is remarkable cardiovascular and core muscle development.
Why spend an hour running when you can maintain an optimum heart rate quickly, easily and conveniently in your front yard if you like. 5-10 minutes of exercising on jumping stilts will boost your heart rate up as high as you want. 2-3 sets of 5 minute sessions a few times a week is all you need to burn thousands of calories and develop powerful lungs and a strong heart. Better yet, with all those burnt calories, also goes the excess weight.
Although an excellent alternative to treadmills and boxersize classes, the most remarkable benefit of exercising on jumping stilts is leg and core muscle development. Admit it, squat machines and ab exercises are a pain, and hard to commit to. We all love to train and tone our arms, chest and back, but when it comes to legs and abs, it’s tough to stay committed long enough to achieve noticeable improvements. Enter jumping stilts. If you want to tone your waistline, buttocks and legs, easily and quickly, jumping stilts may be the product you should try.
Each jump requires exertion of the quads and buttocks, so as you are running or leaping around having fun, your are performing specific exercises to develop and tone your legs and midsection. Users, even athletes with strong legs, have noted that their legs feel “like noodles” after the first few sessions. “Jumping stilts provide a type of exercise you just don’t find anywhere else. I thought I was in great shape and I bragged to you that my legs were strong………but I was amazed how jumping stilts took my leg strength to the next level. This new strength helps me in all my sporting activities.” J.S. Conn
One final benefit of exercising on jumping stilts is when you combine the cardiovascular and the strength workout, the physical results are dramatic. You’ll see all your muscles in your quads grow. Your butt will take on a rounder, firmer shape. You’ll notice how tight all the muscles around your waist have become. Not just the six pack in the front, but all the muscles that are located in your midsection. That belt size will shrink faster than you can say jumping stilts. It happens fast because the exercise is so different. As they say - when you “shock” your body with a new exercise you see and feel results very quickly.

Negged for dishing out good advice.
I’m working on getting six pack abs right now and it’s not easy. Does anyone here have any recommendations as far as a good six pack abs diet? My trainer says that oatmeal, egg whites of course, broccoli, blueberries and salmon are all necessary to incorporate into your diet…are there any other foods I should include to build muscle and get ripped abs?
